Carrigtwohill village is located 11 km east of Cork City on the main Cork-Waterford route (N25) and has undergone vast change from a small rural village to a new satellite town. From 2006 to 2011 it saw a 64% increase in population which earned it the title of the fastest growing town in Munster and the fourth fastest growing town nationally. The eastern end contains the heart of the village with its church, schools, linear shopping street and various amenities. Our Community is continually growing with a population of approx 4,500 at the last census report from 2011.
Carrigtwohill village is in close proximity to Fota Wildlife Park, Fota House, Arboretum & Gardens, Fota Island Golf Club and the Fota Island Resort.
Historical sites such as Barryscourt Castle, Ballyannon Castle and Carrigtwohill Caves are some of the many tourist attractions that Carrigtwohill has to offer to visitors.

The Community Centre is located at the eastern end of the village with ample parking facilities. The Community Centre has excellent facilities for sport, drama, meetings, conferences, classes and parties. It is run by the Community Council and is available for a wide range of activities.
The Main Hall can seat up to 250 people and is also used for soccer, badminton etc. The Tullegreine Room can seat up to 80 people while the Mulvany & Fota rooms can each seat up to 30 people. A fully equipped kitchen is available with all rooms.
