Yesterday members of Community Council attended an (SDG) challenge workshop with Bobby McCormack of Development Perspectives, which was hosted by Youghal Blue and Green Network and sponsored by Eirgrid.
For those of you that are curious as to what SDG’s are: in 2015 United Nations Member States adopted the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 SDG’s. We’ll be discussing and hearing lots more about these in coming months and years as we move towards implementing same.
